Delete your account

You can delete your Formm account and everything in it, in the app or by asking us.

Fastest

In the app

  1. Open Formm and tap your picture at the top of Today to open Profile.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
  3. Read the warning and tap Continue.
  4. Type DELETE and tap Delete everything.

That is it. You are signed out and your data is deleted.

Already uninstalled?

Ask us by email

If you no longer have the app, email formm@avlo.uk from the address you signed up with. Please include:

  • the subject line Delete my Formm account,
  • the email address on the account (send the message from that address, so we can check it is yours),
  • your first name as you gave it to Formm, if you remember it,
  • a line saying you want the account and all of its data deleted.

Email us to request deletion (opens your email app with the message started for you).

Please do not send your password or any health information in the email. If we cannot confirm the request is from the account owner we may ask you a question first.

What gets deleted, and how quickly

  • Your account and sign-in details, and your profile (name, goal, how often you train, equipment).
  • Your injuries and check-ins.
  • Your training history: sessions, sets, weights and reps, and personal bests.
  • Your food log, targets and bodyweight, if you added them.
  • Your conversations with the coach, your saved plans and your voice and language choices.
  • Your Health Connect summaries (sleep, resting heart rate and workouts) and your Health Connect consent record, if you connected it.
  • Any coach replies you reported as wrong, unsafe or offensive, with your notes. We store reported replies to improve safety, and they are deleted with your account.
  • Your voice call records (when a call started and how long it lasted). Formm does not keep the audio or the words of a call.
  • Your subscription records, and your customer record at RevenueCat, which handles our subscriptions.
  • Your consent record.

If you pay for Formm Pro: deleting your account does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it first in your app store (on Android, open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions; on iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions), or you will keep being charged.

In the app: your information is deleted from our live database straight away when you confirm.

By email: we will reply within one month and delete your information from the live database once we have checked the request.

Backups: copies held in our database provider's backups are removed when those backups expire, which is 7 days.

Voice: we do not keep voice recordings. They are sent for transcription and are not stored by Formm.

Accounts you stop using: if you don't use Formm for 24 months, we delete your account. We email you 30 days before.

Deleting your account cannot be undone. The privacy policy has the full detail, including your other rights.
